I came to the university through clearing; I attended an open day in August just a few days after receiving my A Level results. I loved the new student accommodation and the location of the Waterfront Building.
I'm from Hackney in London and wanted to move away to experience something different. I studied Business Management and loved the fact that here, you're not just a number and everyone has a role to play at the institution, whether it is staff or students.
When I graduated in 2013 I was lucky enough to be elected the University Students Union President, which has in turn, broadened my horizons and significantly added to my personal development.
The years I have spent here have been the best of my life. I have developed, changed, matured as an individual. I was born and bred in London but moulded and shaped by the University and Suffolk, and I can safely say that this is my second home.
