I'm Ashton and I am studying Bsc (Hons) Sports and Exercise Science.
I currently run 2-3 times weekly and I am training for a half marathon this year - leading to a full marathon next year. As well as this I strength train 4 times a week.
I also enjoy long walks in woodland, swimming, and aqua obstacle courses.
I think fitness is imperative for overall wellbeing. A healthy body, with a good exercise plan and the right nutrition without harsh restrictions, will lead to a more positive mindset and productivity. Mental health is a massive topic in current society, and we need to take every appropriate step towards action for our well-being.
