Andrew was appointed Course Leader for the FdA Hospitality and Events Management course at UCS Bury St Edmunds in 2011, and is also now the Director of Curriculum for the School of Business Management, Accounting and Tourism at the University of Suffolk at West Suffolk College.
Andrew enjoyed a 12 year career in senior management within the hospitality industry working with both independent hotel groups and larger national organisations, where he gained a reputation for growing large teams and developing and training high-profile managers. Andrew ensured that only the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction were achieved. He believes that learning should be enjoyable , interesting and relevant, so ensures that his lectures and assessments are modern, up to date and appropriate for aspiring managers within the hospitality and events industry.
He graduated from De Montfort University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Management and has completed his PGCE. His area of teaching expertise is in employability and customer service, leading to many of his students securing excellent employment on completion of their FdA in a range of management positions
