I am currently studying Regenerative Medicine and I decided to embark on this course as I have had an interest in genetic engineering since college. When I first started searching for universities that offer Masters for Regenerative Medicine, I realised there were not many universities or countries that offered this course. Furthermore even though one university in my country, Sri Lanka, had advertised they would be starting a similar program I was not very confident about the quality and standard as they were just starting out, therefore I began looking for my interested course in other parts of the world.

I found the University of Suffolk while I was browsing through a website and I feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful university. What I truly feel grateful for is meeting such amazing lecturers. Since it took a bit of time to make my visa I was unable to arrive on time, however, I felt like I didn’t miss a thing, the lecturers were so kind and helpful, they sent me all the content and papers and even let me attend the classes online until I arrived.

I am in my final semester and I have really enjoyed my time here at the University of Suffolk and in this country. Furthermore, I have learnt a great deal from this course and I feel like the lecturers always try to prepare us for the real world and give us the confidence to strive for the best.
