University of Suffolk Rises 26 Places in Latest League Table

14 Jun 2022 2:00PM

The University of Suffolk is the third highest climbing university in the latest league table for universities across the country.

The University has leapt 26 places in the Complete University Guide 2023 following on from a rise of 30 places in another table, The Guardian University Guide last year.

Every year the Complete University Guide releases UK university and subject league tables to support prospective students in making informed decisions about their future.

This follows on from last month’s Whatuni Student Choice Awards which saw students vote for their favourite university across a range of categories and celebrate the work of universities up and down the country.

In these awards, the University of Suffolk finished in the Top Ten for quality of facilities, and lectures and teaching.

The Complete University Guide is based on ten measures including entry standards, student satisfaction, research quality, graduate prospects, spending on academic services and spending on student facilities.

Commenting on the new league table, Professor Helen Langton, Vice-Chancellor at the University of Suffolk said: “The University of Suffolk is delighted with the enhancement in our league table position.

“This reflects our hard work and focus on the experience of our students. It also demonstrates the quality of our provision as a young and ambitious higher education institution.

We are heading in the right direction and league table positions such as this one cement this. We are extremely pleased.”

The law course at the University has risen 21 places in the Complete University Guide Subject League Table.
