Thousands of students attend annual UCAS Higher Education Exhibition

13 Jun 2018 4:15PM

The University of Suffolk has welcomed over 2,500 students to its Ipswich Waterfront campus for the annual Suffolk UCAS higher education exhibition.

Students came from across Suffolk and beyond, including London, to the event which showcased the wide range of options available after school or college such as university, college, gap years, internships and volunteering. Over 100 exhibitors attended.

Robyn Jansen Van Ryssen, Student Recruitment and Outreach Manager at the University of Suffolk, said, “We were delighted to welcome so many enthusiastic young people to our campus. The event provides an opportunity to find out about all the options available but of course it provides us the chance to highlight the University of Suffolk and all that we offer.”

Students were given the opportunity through a series of seminars to find out about the university application process, student finance, choosing a course, student life and degree apprenticeships. It is the 10th year the University has hosted the event. Exhibitions are held across the UK every year as part of the UCAS annual calendar to bring together future students with learning providers and other interesting organisations.

The University of Suffolk will be holding an Open Event on Saturday 7 July 10.30am-2.30pm. Visit for more information.
