Specialist agreement signed between the University and Suffolk One

5 Feb 2016 9:30AM

A Progression Agreement has been signed between the University and Suffolk One which will benefit students on business courses.

We have been developing agreements with a small number of schools and colleges in order to support and encourage Suffolk students to progress to higher education.

The Suffolk Business School will deliver curriculum-relevant academic sessions for A Level Business, BTEC Business and BTEC Hotel Management students at Suffolk One, to give them an insight into studying degrees in Business, Events, Tourism and Accounting.

The current Year 13 students will be supported in planning for their transition into higher education, and Year 12 students will be invited to visit the University to participate in workshops and lectures.

As part of the Progression Agreement, up to 10 students will be eligible to receive a package of core textbooks for their first year of their degree this year, September 2016. The University is also offering this for up to 10 students who join in September 2017.
