A joint working agreement has been signed between the University of Suffolk’s School of Engineering, Art, Science and Technology and the Department of Engineering Sciences at the University of Guglielmo Marconi (USGM) in Italy.
The agreement will support research activities and will focus on ‘The Urban Ecology - Planning and Technocracy’.
Dr Marco Spada, Lecturer in Architecture at the University of Suffolk will be leading the project alongside his counterpart at USGM, Professor Cinzia Bellone.
Dr Spada is an architect (ARB registered) and urban planner and holds a PhD in Architecture, Theories and Project from Sapienza University of Rome, with a thesis on the industrial landscape.
He said of this agreement “It will allow researchers from both universities to cooperate on the themes of ecology, technocracy and the management of urban processes, facilitating and accelerating the achievements of the shared strategic objectives.”
