The University is pleased to announce it will once again be supporting the West Suffolk Business Festival when it returns this month.
This is the Festival’s 11th year and there is a packed programme of virtual and face-to-face events taking place between the 4-15 October.
The Festival is a joint partnership between all the region’s business support organisations and the free events focus on the future and achieving business growth post COVID-19.
The University of Suffolk is showcasing two key events during the festival:
Eat to enhance your productivity
This popular taster session with Dr Emmanouil Georgiadis, Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology at the University of Suffolk, looks at the contribution the right type of snacks can make to daily productivity. Put your mid-morning coffee and biscuits to one side until this session to discover the potential benefits of snacking!
6 October 12-1pm via Zoom
Practical ways to develop leadership skills in your business
Dr Will Thomas, Associate Professor at the Suffolk Business School at the University of Suffolk and Mike Johnson, Business Development Manager at the University of Suffolk, will lead an interactive workshop to help participants identify ways to develop and nurture talent in the workplace. Attendees will gain practical actions that can be implemented within their organisation straight away.
8 October 10-11am via Zoom
Places for these events are limited and available on a first come first served basis.
