The University of Suffolk continues to build on its impressive graduate employment record.
Figures measuring the number of full-time graduates in employment or further study six months after graduation have been released by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) today (19 July 2018).
The Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) statistics show that the University of Suffolk scored 95.4% for the 2016/17 student cohort, maintaining the University’s position in the league table from last year.
Professor Mohammad Dastbaz, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, said, “Career development and employability are at the heart of the University’s mission. This is a very satisfying outcome and demonstrates the dedication of our staff, the quality of our graduates, the strong connections we have with local, regional and international employers, and the distinctive style of education we offer at Suffolk. Our courses have been designed with employability in mind, and our students are encouraged to get involved in as many extracurricular activities as possible to enhance their employability. This result reflects our commitment to students and the positive impact we have on our communities. We are delighted.”
Several courses scored 100% including Event Management and Tourism Management, Social Work, Counselling, Sport and Exercise Science, Fine Art, English and many of the health courses.
