Salary range: 
£43,434 - £51,799 per annum

Full time – fixed term contract of 2.5 years, with potential to extend subject to funding 

There is an exciting opportunity to join the University of Suffolk as a Senior Research Fellow in the Integrated Care Academy. The Academy is the first of its kind in the country, offering the successful applicant the chance to be at the forefront of local, national and international research in Integrated Care.   

The Senior Research Fellow post will be based at the ICA in the Health & Wellbeing Building at the University of Suffolk, Ipswich. This position is working closely with Suffolk County Council to evaluate a social prescribing project aimed at increasing physical activity through cycling. The post holder will work under the supervision of the Director, Professor Chantal Ski, and closely with other University of Suffolk colleagues and Integrated Care System stakeholders.  

About the post holder

The post holder will possess a PhD, have experience of leading on research publications, projects, and funding bids, as well as having a knowledge of local and national health systems with expertise in monitoring and evaluation. They should have the flexibility to work within diverse teams, while demonstrating self-motivation and time management skills and the ability to work, often to tight deadlines, with limited supervision. The post holder will be expected to have a strong research background as well as a commitment and a desire to provide the necessary leadership and mentorship to enable a dynamic and productive research environment across academia and clinical practice.
