As a result of our rapidly expanding executive education programme Suffolk Business School is seeking to appoint an MBA Programme Leader. The post holder will required to provide strong leadership and ensure that the MBA is reflective of the latest developments in the subject area with teaching and learning innovation aligned to employer needs. The candidate will also be required to have experience of academic management to maintain and build stakeholder relationships, which include a number of international partnerships. The MBA cohort includes a number of students following the level 7 Senior Leader Degree Apprenticeship route and the post holder will be required to maintain relationships with apprenticeship employers.
In addition to programme leadership the post holder will be expected to deliver teaching, which builds upon and reflects their subject-specialist knowledge to MBA students and professional audiences. There will also be an opportunity to engage in PhD supervision and a track-record in research activity will be a particular advantage. The post holder will also be expected to contribute to the development and delivery of several undergraduate modules in Business Management and experience of teaching in the areas of project management, finance and economics as well supervising both postgraduate and undergraduate students for dissertations and extended projects is desirable.
