Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Science (Ref:153)

Full time, permanent

The University of Suffolk is seeking to recruit a Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Science to lead the IBMS accredited BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science undergraduate programme, contribute to the development of this subject area, and provide an excellent student experience.

The appointed candidate will join a successful and well established life science team, and will be prepared to contribute to a range of programmes. They will have experience of building relationships with hospital/healthcare trusts to drive forward the development of the biomedical science programme area.

Candidates will be expected to lead undergraduate modules in a number of areas including histology and medical microbiology.

Candidates should have a track record of leading higher education biomedical science courses, be HCPC registered, be IBMS members, and have a commitment to teaching, learning, research and knowledge exchange.

There is an expectation that post holders will work strategically with the School leadership team to expand the biomedical science provision.
