An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Finance and Planning Directorate at the University of Suffolk for a part-time (22.2 hpw) Senior Finance Assistant (Procurement) to assist with a range of procurement and purchasing related duties within our busy team.
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will provide support with the electronic purchase order system administration, process procurement cards, deal with supplier queries and support procurement tasks such as contract and supplier management.
You should have experience of working in a finance and purchasing environment, preferably with an understanding of the Higher Education or public sector but not essential. Experience with supplier or contract management would be a distinct advantage. Flexibility, accuracy, IT skills and the ability to communicate well with a wide range of people are all essential skills.
Interviews will be arranged for w/c 20th January 2020
