Research Support Manager (Ref:277)

Salary range: 
£36,382- £42,149 per annum

Full time, permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the University of Suffolk supporting the implementation of our research and Scholarly Activity Strategy.  

You will work as part of the Research Directorate team, responsible for research bids and tenders for funding, supporting the Directors of Research Institutes and Schools with research resources and budget management and timely completion of and monitoring of projects.

This is a dynamic role for joining up processes between external funding bodies and project partners through to working across a broad range of internal University departments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a broad understanding of research support and the research lifecycle will be essential. You will also have a flexible, collaborative, and creative approach to work. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines are also essential. Experience of research support administration is highly desirable.
