Project Administrator (Ref:141)

Salary range: 
£23,754 – £26,715 per annum, pro rata

Part time, fixed term (May 2021 October 2023)  

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join the Business Engagement & Entrepreneurship team at the University of Suffolk to support the ICET project.

The In-Career Education and Training (ICET) project is a training enterprise, funded by the University of Suffolk and the European Social Fund that will improve and increase employer participation and engagement in learning across the Suffolk region. Some of your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Administering financial transactions, and ensuring a clear audit and accountability trail
  • Preparing agendas and take minutes at steering group meetings
  • Co-ordinating the completion and submission of funding claims
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports
  • Supporting a series of events and provide marketing information using social media and web pages

You will have a high degree of numeracy skills, understand the importance of compliance in externally-funded projects and be proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel.

The role is hosted by the University of Suffolk and offers flexible working arrangements that includes office and home-working.
