Library Services Assistant (Ref 056)

Salary range: 
£18,342 to £20,695 pro rata

0.4ft/2 days per week/permanent

At the University of Suffolk, Library and Learning Services pride ourselves in delivering excellent customer service for all students, staff and visitors to the Library and we currently have a vacancy for a motivated individual to join our team for 2 days per week. Actual days of work are negotiable.

We are looking for someone to support the team delivering excellent customer service to our customers and providing administrative support in the purchasing and processing of library resources, collation and recording of service engagement data and other service-related duties.

You should have good communication skills and be able to remain calm and confident when working with customers and partners. You should have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work quickly and efficiently, with high levels of attention to detail to meet and exceed requirements.

Confident in using a variety of IT packages and the ability to pick these up quickly. 

We are looking for someone to be able to start with us on or around 2nd January 2020.
