The University of Suffolk is an ambitious new institution which has an aspirational vision for the future of its performance provision. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious lecturer to lead our innovation dance degree delivered in partnership with leading national dance agency DanceEast. Responding to the growth in demand for artists working in health, education and community settings, this work-based dance degree prepares students for a successful career within this context.
The successful applicant will be highly committed and experienced professional Dance practitioner-lecturer with specific expertise in a range of subjects including dance pedagogy, choreography, contemporary dance technique, performance and contextual studies in dance. A confident and inspiring teacher, you will possess excellent inter-personal skills, and have the ability to work in a team effectively as well as create and deliver an inspiring and relevant curriculum.
