The University of Suffolk is looking for a lecturer to join the criminology team in the School of Social Sciences and Humanities. This exciting opportunity is offered as a Lecturer role, on a fixed term contract until February 2023. The successful candidate will be able to teach across the criminology curriculum at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Applicants with an ability to teach a subject specialism in: 1) History of crime and punishment; 2) Criminological theory; and/or 3) Criminal Justice, are particularly welcomed.

Comprised of a large and diverse group of scholars, the School includes a range of subject areas including: Sociology, Politics, Criminology, Law, History, Psychology, English, Social Work, Counselling, and Education. The School is a professional and collegiate group who have been proactive in establishing innovative programmes of study to serve the needs of over a 1400+ undergraduate and postgraduate student population. A particular strength of the School is our social sciences programmes in Criminology, Politics and Sociology.
