The Architecture subject area at Suffolk is seeking an experienced design studio leader and fully qualified Architect (ARB/RIBA) to play an instrumental role in the design strand of its young and aspirational BA (Hons) Architecture. The successful candidate will join a highly qualified, diverse team of Architects and scholars and will assist with ARB and RIBA accreditation, also to play a role in developing the vision of Architecture at Suffolk on postgraduate level and in research.
The successful candidate will lead and contribute to Design Synthesis modules bringing strong and forward-thinking pedagogical ethic and supervise Dissertations with a focus on technology and building design. The successful candidate must be prepared to offer lab support and practical tuition as well as seminar-based teaching. We invite applications from experienced academics and practitioners with a track record of relevant expertise in the UK who are aware of ARB/RIBA professional standards and building regulations.
Architecture at Suffolk is part of the School of Engineering, Arts, Science and Technology (EAST). Our home School is one of the most diverse in the University.
