As a new university based within one of the UK’s fastest growing city economies, the University of Suffolk is expanding and is currently recruiting for a number of exciting new opportunities within the Business Engagement, Careers and Employability team.
As part of an increased commitment from the University to business development and knowledge exchange and to diversify income streams, a key development within the Directorate is the growth of our sector focused Business Development Managers (BDMs). BDMs will support knowledge exchange, and enable business and industry to connect with the University’s expertise.
This post is seeking an individual to join the Business Engagement, Careers and Employability team to lead and manage the successful delivery of KTPs. With ambitious growth targets for KTPs, you will lead on the development of high-quality funding proposals, and be responsible for increasing the volume of KTP activity across the University. Through active engagement in business development, you will provide advice and specialist knowledge on KTP projects and contracts, working alongside the wider Directorate.
The Directorate of Business Engagement, Career and Employability supports our academic Schools to connect our academic expertise with industry, transform our local community through knowledge exchange, enhance the student and graduate experience through entrepreneurship and develop our University as a place to do business.
