University of Suffolk is currently recruiting an Infrastructure Analyst to join a highly successful team managing the organisations Data Centre and cloud based IT Infrastructure.
Working in a team of 6, the successful candidate will be responsible for core infrastructure BAU and project-based work, as well as 3rd line support. Day to day tasks includes working on various projects throughout the project lifecycle, from setting up project plans, design work and implementation, to hand-over and decommissioning.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a broad and dynamic role on a modern and well-maintained IT Infrastructure in a professional team.
Candidates should have technical skills with a strong background in Corporate IT Infrastructure, with skills and experience in four or more of the following areas:
- Active Directory
- Office 365, Exchange 2010/2016
- Backup / Disaster Recovery
- DNS, DHCP
- System Centre Configuration Manager
- Networking, routing, switching and firewalls
- Endpoint Security
- Enterprise Storage
Additional weight will be given to candidates who have skills in the following areas:
- Cloud hosted solutions (AWS/Azure)
- SQL Server
- Identity Management
