Are you passionate about widening participation and have the skills and/or experience to make a difference to the lives of young people through building a network of parent ambassadors?
The University of Suffolk is starting an exciting new project and is seeking to recruit someone to take it forward. This is an opportunity for the successful post holder to use their skills and creativity to develop a network of Parent and Carer Ambassadors. The Ambassadors will work with other parents and carers across Suffolk in order to encourage underrepresented groups and young people in the region to progress to higher education (HE). The Higher Education Parent/Carer Champion will be responsible for recruiting and training the parent ambassadors, as well as developing opportunities within the community to promote HE. The post holder will be excellent at relationship management, experienced in developing projects and working independently.
The post is jointly funded by the Ipswich Opportunity Area and The Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (NEACO).
