Higher Education Champions (Ref:051)

Salary range: 
£27,511 - £30,046 pa, pro rata

Full time fixed term until 31 July 2021

There are 2 roles that can be based in either Ipswich, Haverhill or Lowestoft

Are you passionate about widening participation and have the skills and/or experience to make a difference to the lives of young people?

As part of the exciting Uni Connect programme and The Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (NEACO), the University of Suffolk is recruiting two Higher Education Champions (HEC), one to work in Ipswich and SW Suffolk  and one to work in Lowestoft and North Suffolk. You will join a team of 10 HECs employed by the University of Suffolk based in schools across Suffolk. NEACO is a partnership of five universities committed to widening participation and raising aspiration into Higher education across East Anglia. The HECs work with staff and students to support identified pupils in Years 9-13 to progress to and thrive in HE.

NEACO is a partnership of five universities committed to widening participation and raising aspiration into Higher education across East Anglia. Partners are Cambridge University (Lead), University of Suffolk, University of East Anglia, Anglia Ruskin University, Norwich University of the Arts.
