Governance Officer (Ref:086)

Salary range: 
£27,924 to £30,497 per annum, pro rata

Permanent, part time (25 hours per week)

We are seeking a pro-active Governance Officer who will assist the University in complying with the governance regulations and expectations of the Office for Students (OfS) and other regulatory bodies. This new post will sit within the Vice-Chancellor’s Office and will liaise with a wide variety of governance stakeholders, including the Senior Leadership Team, the Executive, the University Board of Directors and the Secretary to the Board.

This is an exciting new post for someone that has a thorough knowledge of governance best practice, and ideally has an understanding of the structure and governance of universities and working knowledge of the OfS Regulatory Framework. They will be an excellent communicator with experience of interpreting complex and/or lengthy documents in order to prepare concise and salient summary reports.
