The University of Suffolk is seeking a self-motivated individual to provide an outward-facing role, working collaboratively with fellow Business Partners and other teams to deliver financial expertise in a cross-section of financial activities.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Financial Management and work areas will include the provision of management information, support, guidance and training for budget holders and other staff, monitoring, reporting and analysis of achievement against financial performance indicators and the costing and analysis of new and existing income streams.
Applicants will need to possess sound technical knowledge and have experience of working as a business partner. They will need to be able to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and have excellent organisational skills, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately under pressure. A good understanding of the higher education environment would be an advantage.
