About the department
As a new university based within one of the UK’s fastest growing city economies, the University of Suffolk is expanding and is currently recruiting for a number of exciting new opportunities.
This opportunity sits within the Planning & Management Information department which sits in the wider Directorate of Finance & Planning and specialises in a variety of areas such as business intelligence, planning, statutory returns, timetabling/rooming and the administration and maintenance of some of the university’s key systems.
About the role
Within this newly created opportunity, you will assist with the production of student related statutory returns with the primary focus being on returns for the Office for Students and the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA). Some of your day to day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the production of external returns
- Monitoring data quality within the student records system
- Liaising with departments at the university to communicate data collection requirements
- Reviewing processes where data quality issues exist
