An exciting opportunity has arisen at the University of Suffolk for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to join the Estates Department.
Working as part of an established team, you will be required to contribute towards the provision of a full estates management service.
Responsibilities will range from architectural design, a procurement and contract administration service for construction, refurbishment and alteration projects to inspection, upkeep and maintenance of the fabric of all University accommodation and maintaining accurate built environment CAD drawings and Estate records.
The role will also require the management of external consultants and contractors associated with estate development schemes and the provision of technical guidance to in-house trades staff.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate significant experience in designing, procuring and managing projects within a diverse property portfolio, a sound understanding of relevant legislation and excellent CAD skills.
A relevant degree qualification and membership of an appropriate professional body (i.e. RICS / CIOB) would be advantageous but is not essential.
Informal enquiries can be directed to David Green, Head of Estates email firstname.lastname@example.org or Tel 01473 338027.
