Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Manager (Ref:082)

Salary range: 
£32,348 - £36,386 per annum, pro rata

The Careers, Employability and Enterprise (CEE) Team are currently seeking an additional Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Manager to join on a part time (0.6FTE) basis until 31st July 2023.  

The CEE Team plays a central role in the student journey, working with students and graduates via embedded and extra-curricular activity, and are currently entering a period of expansion. This is an exciting time to play a key role in a newly relaunched service, with the opportunity to make demonstrable impact to a diverse range of students and graduates. 

About the role 

Working with our existing Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Manager, the post holder will share responsibility for all activity related to student enterprise and entrepreneurship, establishing an outstanding offer of initiatives and support that are engaging, innovative, and increase student engagement in enterprise and entrepreneurship. 

In addition to developing a clear extra-curricular offer to ensure our student and graduate population have all of the support they need to start or expand a business, or pursue freelance careers, the successful candidate will also play a key role in the embedding of enterprise and entrepreneurship throughout the curriculum, and providing 1:1 support. The post holder will need to design and deliver relevant content within degree programmes, and, in particular, will need to teach on a Postgraduate module in the new year.  

Whilst the role is agile, the post holder will be expected to attend the Ipswich campus regularly, particularly during term time to support the needs of our student and graduate population. Some travel will be required, particularly to support students at our Founding Partners (East Coast College, West Suffolk College, Suffolk New College).
