Salary range: 
£30,942 - £34,804 per annum/pro rata

Permanent, part time (0.4 FTE)

The University of Suffolk are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join the Apprenticeship Hub within the Business Engagement, Careers and Employability Directorate.

The Directorate of Business Engagement, Careers and Employability supports our academic Schools to connect our academic expertise with industry, transform our local community through knowledge exchange, enhance the student and graduate experience through entrepreneurship and develop our University as a place to do business.

The University of Suffolk is investing in the development of our apprenticeship support service which has led to the need to appoint apprenticeship skills coaches to support our areas of growth. One of these will be focused on all apprenticeships within the School of Social Science and Humanities.

Some of the duties of this post will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting tripartite reviews with the apprentice line manager and apprentice as often and appropriate to successfully complete EPA.
  • Providing coaching and skills support to ensure successful completion of EPA
  • Supporting the development and progression of designated apprentices
  • Tracking and monitoring the progress of apprentices and complete all the required documentation and update all records relevant to their journey

To be successful in this role you will have experience in apprenticeship provisions with experience of coaching or mentoring and delivering workplace training. Your knowledge will be either directly linked to or transferable to the social work sector and you must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and organisational skills.
