Academic Skills Advisors

Salary range: 
£30,395 to £34,189 pa

1 x full time + 1 x 0.8fte posts are available.

At University of Suffolk we believe in an inclusive model for the delivery of academic skills, ensuring that our advisors are able to provide support to all of our students, through personalised one-to-one support based on individual needs, online, in-house developed courses, or face to face workshops. Our services are available to all within our institutional community, from Level 4 undergraduates through to those undertaking postgraduate degrees.

The role holder/s will contribute to the delivery of support to all students, and subject to the completion of further qualifications (where required), will also support those with specific learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorders.

We are seeking someone with a creative approach to learning design, mindful of the individual needs of all students.  In return, we will provide an innovative working environment, providing support for ongoing personal and professional development.
