Introduction

Our International Foundation Programme is your route to an undergraduate degree at one of the UK’s most transformational universities. The course combines a range of business and management subjects with core study skills and English for academic purposes, helping you advance onto a degree course and gain knowledge and skills that will boost your future career.

This course is aimed at international students seeking to study an undergraduate degree at the University of Suffolk. The course consists of three skills modules (Study Skills, English for Academic Purposes and Employability and Enterprise) together with three specialised business and management modules.

Course modules

Our business route is designed for international students wishing to progress onto a degree in business management, marketing, accounting and financial management, or other related fields.

Students will study three specialised modules:

„ Managing Projects for Competitive Success

Study Skills

This module is designed to support students in their transition into the UK higher education environment and equip them with the study skills they will need to succeed on their chosen undergraduate programme.

Once you complete and pass your International Foundation Programme, you will have the opportunity to enrol onto a University of Suffolk undergraduate degree programme relevant to your chosen route.

Fees and finance

2020-21

  • Full time tuition fee - £10,000

At University of Suffolk, your tuition fees provide access to all the usual teaching and learning facilities that you would expect. However, there may be additional costs associated with your course that you will need to budget for. 

Entry requirements

Usually successful completion of at least 12 years of high school, check country specific requirements.

IELTS 5.0 (minimum 4.5 in all components) or equivalent. If you do not meet these requirements there is an extended programme to enhance your English skills.
