In response to Anna Airy Awards Exhibition:
Our monthly art club aims to introduces young people to a contemporary art gallery giving them the opportunity to really explore the exhibitions and create a piece of art work that responds to the show. Our aim is to make art accessible to all.

This month we will be looking at the Anna Airy Awards Exhibition, Anna Airy (1882-1964) was one of the most distinguished painters of her generation with work represented in many major national collections. During the First World War she was appointed an official war artist.

The exhibition features over 170 works form young artists aged 16 - 20 yrs from schools and colleges with the region.

In this art club we will be looking closely at the exhibition selecting our own winner and awarding our own certificates. We will also be making charcoal sketches of the selected works.

Family art club is a place to develop and extend creativity.

Hope you can join us on Sunday 27 November 10.00-11.30am
