Ipswich Waterfront Innovation Centre,  The Atrium, Seminar Room

Join us on Thursday 2nd May to hear from Nino Severino, Director Of The Hub at University of Suffolk, Former Olympic and British No.1 Tennis Coach who will be delivering a presentation on The Hub and its evolution since its launch in June 2018.

The Hub has developed a World Class portfolio of athletes who have turned to 'The Centre Of Excellence' at The Hub for their Sports Science needs. Nino believes that the branding of The Hub through the portfolio which he calls “The Athlete Heroes” have produced the second most recognised sporting entity after Ipswich Town Football Club.

The Hub offers fitness and health services, programmes, products and consultancy to the business, corporate and educational sectors. His presentation will include the success of attracting a strong portfolio of sponsors and the effect this has on The Hub and its operations.

Nino and members of the Hub are proud to have unearthed some incredible sporting stories, in order to develop relationships with athletes to add incredible value to their preparation and training programmes.

This topic will be of interest to anyone in the sports industry, interested in sports and sport related careers and the development of sports and athletes in Suffolk.

The Quay to Growth Business Breakfast Series provides an opportunity to hear some unique insights into leadership, management, innovation and enterprise from academic staff across a variety of disciplines. As well as giving you the opportunity to join our emergent enterprise network.
