ARTS PRACTICE & FINE ART MASTERS EXHIBITION
Introduction by Amy Drayson
Welcome to our Arts Practice and Fine Art ‘Masters’ show. The exhibition includes work by writers, artists, film makers and designers, it represents the variety of our practice and the diversity in our thinking. It is a snapshot of the research and labour undertaken before this point and a glimpse towards our future practice.
By embarking on the MA we commit to a reflexive methodology of creative friction and resolution. In embracing this process we make a space where creativity occurs, our practice acquires clarity and confidence, and our efforts become positive and fundamental. The unfolding of that practice is manifest in ‘Masters’, where we present a diverse collection of applications, contexts, preoccupations and outcomes.
We invite you to celebrate this creativity with us. Look at our work, watch it, read it, listen to it, feel it - embrace it.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us through the MA process, staff, friends, family, volunteers, everyone involved in the exhibition, and particularly our sponsors.
