A virtual Lunch n Learn session designed to raise awareness about Specific Learning Difficulties for both employers and potential employees
This year, during Dyslexia Week 2020 (5th - 11th October) the British Dyslexia Association are "looking at the power of dyslexia to create ideas, organisations and society and the invaluable contribution this makes to the UK."
Join us online for our first #lunchnlearn session of the academic year taking place where Dr Marianna Stella, lecturer in Education and Childhood Studies expands on her Bitesized presentation with a brief introduction of Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and explore the ones that weren't mentioned in her Bitesize.
Marianna will discuss the strengths that come with SpLD both for employers and potential applicants. She will also highlight other awareness events happening in October around different SpLD. There will also be time for questions.
