Easter is just around the corner, and in the run up to exams and deadlines, why not take the weekend to relax before the final push of the academic year. If you’re stuck for ideas, here’s a list of things to do over the Easter weekend.

Easter egg hunt

No matter how old you are, you can always go on an Easter egg hunt. The National Trust has over 250 properties where you can take part in a hunt with your kids, family, or friends. The trails explore beautiful stately homes, forests and gardens. Find the closest one for you here.

Take a weekend away

If you feel like getting away for a bit, take a holiday over the East break. Whether it’s in the UK or abroad, forget about your uni work and just enjoy a bit of time with your family or friends. Enjoy the events your holiday area has to offer, and relax before getting ready for your deadlines.

Go for a walk

Whether you stay in Ipswich or go back home for Easter, there’s always going to be somewhere to take a walk. Go down to the beach, explore a new park, or visit some gardens. With the spring weather, you’ll see beautiful flowers and wildlife at the best time of year.

Stay in

Fancy a day to yourself? Or even a whole weekend? Just stay in over Easter; relax, sleep in, read a book, sit in the garden, binge-watch your favourite series. It’s your weekend; do what you want with it. If you have kids, do some fun Easter themed crafts with them, or make your own Easter egg hunt in the garden.
