The Student Recruitment and Outreach team organise a range of events and activities to help prospective students find out about the range of options in higher education, and at the University of Suffolk specifically.
We are committed to providing information, advice and guidance to all prospective students, their families, teachers and advisors, and we travel across the UK and Europe to support people in making decisions about higher education. We deliver talks and workshops in schools and colleges, attend community events, parents evenings, education fairs and organise on-campus activities.
The team also work hard to promote widening participation in higher education. University of Suffolk is committed to continuing to raise awareness, aspirations and attainment of young people in years 7-13 from under-represented groups in higher education. Our outreach activities focus on young people from disadvantaged social and economic backgrounds, looked after children, students from military families, mature students and people with disabilities.
The University of Suffolk holds one day conferences aimed at Year 12 A-level, HE Access and first year BTEC (Level 3) students or equivalent. These conferences aim to showcase courses and give potential applicants an insight into the subject area.
The Student Recruitment and Outreach team can arrange campus visits to the University of Suffolk, Ipswich. These visits are suitable for years 7-13.
