When do I enrol on my course?
University of Suffolk enrolment is an online process. Applicants will be invited to enrol during the summer, so keep an eye on your emails.
Enrolment is the process where you check and confirm the information we hold about you, make module selections, and confirm your timetable. Students who are due to receive a tuition fee loan and maintenance support must fully enrol before this funding is released. Students who are being sponsored or self-funding their tuition fees will also be able to arrange for these payments to be made.
Course start dates
The majority of undergraduate courses running at the Ipswich campus will commence on either 13 or 20 September. The week of 20 September is the main Induction and Freshers’ Week information and activities, with teaching commencing the following week for the majority of students.
Induction is your welcome to the University. We aim to provide you with the information you need to get started on your higher education journey at the University of Suffolk, to meet other people on your course, the academic teams and support services here to help you along the way. Whilst Induction will start for most courses on either 13 or 20 September (depending on your course), we will start introducing you to key information and services during the summer, and continue throughout your first year of study.
This year induction information will mainly be delivered online. You will be able to join us for a number of live sessions, many of which will be repeated so you can join at a time that is convenient to you. Other sessions will be pre-recorded so that you can watch on-demand.
Our Student Life team are busy preparing a number of events and sessions that cater specifically to our international students so make sure you join us if you can!
The Students' Union will deliver a Freshers' week which will help you to make friends, it will encourage you to try out new things and to have fun. The SU are planning a blend of in-person and online events, following government guidelines as they become available.
Keep an eye on the SU website for more information as it becomes available.
