Hello and welcome to the Applicant Area,
Whether you have made an application or are still deciding, we hope you find this area useful. It is a collection of the most important things to get you started when applying to the University of Suffolk. Some areas are specifically for applicants only (Discussion Area and My Application) and the others are open to all.
Applicants can login to the secure areas using their Applicant ID i.e. S123456 and password, this information will have been sent to you by email when you first applied to us.
Here’s an overview of each of the section:
Announcements – We’ll post here to remind you about key dates for applications, finance, accommodation and anything else we think you may be interested in!
Discussion Area – A secure area for applicants to chat with each other… go ahead and introduce yourself.
Getting Started with IT - Starter information about the free software students can access, recommendations about purchasing equipment and everything new students need to know about accessing their University email account.
Induction – This section is usually added to the Applicant Area nearer the time of the start of the course. It will contain all of the information that students need to know about starting their studies; including what happens during Induction, all of the Induction dates & times, how to complete enrolment and how to submit a photo for the ID Card. It will also provide guidance for how new students can speak to someone at the University about a disability, learning requirement or other issue to ensure that any reasonable adjustments/ support can be put in place for the start of the course.
Learning Services – Many of you are interested in accessing reading lists early, this link will take you through to our Learning Services site, allowing you to access reading lists, subject guides and seeing how Learning Services can support you during your studies.
My Application – Track your application, respond to interview invitations, respond to direct offers, apply for accommodation and complete enrolment (when available).
Student Finance – Useful information to help ensure you have all your financial support in place before you start on the course.
Students Union – Find out more about the University of Suffolk Students’ Union, including some the events they run & Fresher’s activities as well as the sports teams and societies.
