Volunteering Event 19 March 2020

The University of Suffolk Careers and Employability Team are pleased to announce the date for our Volunteer Event, held in our Waterfront Building Ipswich:

This free event a chance for students,  to discover volunteering opportunities in the UK and abroad, and find out about paid roles with local and national organisations. 

We are always pleased to attract a selection of local, national and international organisations to our events which are open to all University of Suffolk students and alumni, as well as members of the public.

Employers

Our volunteering event is an ideal opportunity for organisations to meet our students and graduates, increase awareness of the work you do and promote any opportunities you have available now or in the future.  It is also a great way to meet and network with University of Suffolk staff, course leaders and other organisations.

Students and Graduates

Our Events are open to all students and graduates, including everyone who studies at our Partner Colleges across the University of Suffolk Learning Network. You can register to attend via FutureMe which also contains details about all of our other, upcoming events.

The Event is a fantastic opportunity to find out more about volunteering opportunities and paid work in the volunteering, charity and third sector. Volunteering offers you the chance to:

  • Help the environment
  • Help others less fortunate or without a voice
  • Feel valued and part of a team
  • Gain confidence and self-esteem

Members of the Public

As our Events are held in our Waterfront Building Foyer space in our Ipswich campus, we are very pleased to welcome any members of the public to meet with the range of employers in attendance in addition to finding out more about studying at the University of Suffolk.
