University of Suffolk Ipswich
There are various car parks in and around the Ipswich Campus where you are able to park.
Please note, to park at The Wharf or University car park, you will need a permit. Permits are available from MySuffolk for all staff and for students once they have enrolled.
Disabled Parking: There is disabled parking in our car parks, and also directly behind the Waterfront Building on Coprolite Street.
There is a security barrier across the exit from the University Car Park onto Grimwade Street. The barrier has been put in place to protect the health and safety of students, staff and visitors by ensuring the car park is not used as a cut through from Fore Street/Back Hamlet onto Grimwade Street. The barrier will be accessible to students and staff via their ID cards. Visitors can request a pin code from the car park team on duty or can be given a code by the member of staff they are visiting.
Adjacent to the visitor car park is the Waterfront Building. Use the pedestrian crossing on Fore Street to reach the main entrance or cross the Plaza from the Waterfront.
James Hehir Building
Located within close proximity to the Waterfront Building, the James Hehir Building is just a short walk along the Waterfront. For the main reception please go to the Waterfront Building.
The Atrium, IWIC, Library, Students' Union and the Arts Building
Follow campus signs from the car parks. All visitors must visit the main reception in the Waterfront Building first.
