It’s already a beautiful time of year, and I really hope this weather lasts! Spring is always an exciting time in Suffolk with lots of events throughout the season.
I've picked out a few that you might enjoy during the approach to Easter.
Sutton Hoo Roadshow
At the moment, Sutton Hoo is closed while refurbishment takes place. But luckily, they’re taking many replicas on a roadshow round the county, visiting Quay Place on the 5 March. They’ll have lots of children’s activities as well, so it’s not something you want to miss.
High Lodge Leisure
High Lodge Leisure have a range of “have a go” sessions taking place this spring, including archery and clay pigeon shooting. This is good for both families and friends, so why not take a study break and try your hand at something new.
Suffolk Food Hall is back with their Quiz Night on the 15 March and the 12 April. At £20 per person, you get entry to the quiz, a two-course meal and an arrival drink. Perfect for a treat half way through the semester!
If you’re into wildlife and photography, then this one’s for you! You’ll stay on the Deben Peninsula and have a 2 night stay at Bawdsey Hall. During this time, you’ll learn how to take control of your camera and capture the images you want. You’ll have chances to take photos of badgers, owls and muntjac deer.
Family Easter Fun
The Red House is holding a family fun day this Easter with story-telling, games and an Easter egg hunt. Under 16’s go for free, so this is a perfect opportunity for a family day out at little cost.
