Student Entrepreneurs Development Programme

Applications have now closed for 2017. If you are a student or graduate of the University of Suffolk and would like to find out more about opportunities to support you in starting a business or developing a new project or idea, please email to discuss the possibilities. 

The Careers & Employability Service and the Ipswich Waterfront Innovation Centre (IWIC) are excited to offer a unique opportunity to University of Suffolk students.

Individuals or groups of students (up to five) from any course, can now apply with an innovative project, product or business idea and will be supported in developing their project through a year’s free membership (Worth over £700) to the Innovation Centre.

The membership will enable you to be part of a growing entrepreneurial collaborative network and utilise extensive work, lab and creative spaces in the newly refurbished The Atrium. You will also gain free training and mentoring through the IWIC Entrepreneurship Programme to enable you to realise your project, business or business idea.

In order to apply please submit a short proposal (up to 500 words) outlining your innovative project or business idea and contact information. The deadline for proposals is the 17th Feb at 5pm. Please email to with the subject heading SEDP Proposal
