We are looking for enthusiastic and pro-active students to work as Ambassadors and are holding a number of interviews in March. You don't need to apply beforehand, simply sign up and attend one of the interviews and bring the following documentation with you;
Each session will be an interactive group interview and you will be expected to demonstrate your personal skills and professionalism with other candidates and University staff. We want you to represent the University confidently, talk with passion about your experiences here and be willing to interact with a diverse range of people on an individual or group basis.
Monday 2 March, 10.00am-12.00pm)- Room A206, Atrium Building
Wednesday 4 March, 3.00-5.00pm - Room W312, Waterfront Building
Student Ambassador (£9.45 per hour inc holiday pay)
If you are successful in being given a Student Ambassador position then you will need to be available to attend training events. This includes an initial training session as well as Open Event training. Please note you will only need to attend one of each.
Monday 9th March (4pm-7:30pm)
Open Event Training
Saturday 25th April (8am-2:30pm)
* Please note you will be paid for training once you have worked your first event after training.

Are there eligibility requirements for the event?
This scheme is solely based at the University of Suffolk (Ipswich) and those students involved in the scheme will:
be registered for study at the University of Suffolk for the forthcoming academic year.
not be in breach of the Student Attendance and Attendance Monitoring Policy and to be making good academic progress on your course.
be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Students from all years of study are welcome to apply.
Student Ambassadors roles are open to current students and are paid, part-time, flexible roles. Student Ambassadors support events and activities on behalf of the University of Suffolk at university, community, school and college events.
