Schools Liaison Team

The Schools Liaison Team works delivering innovative outreach and widening participation activity across Suffolk. Our strategy enables us to deliver targeted outreach to identified schools and sixth form colleges, as well as signposting to all schools the various outreach opportunities that are available.

The Schools Liaison Team at the University of Suffolk is part of the wider Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (neaco) project. We work closely with all universities/colleges within the partnership, as well as the University of Suffolk’s Access and Student Recruitment Teams. Within the Schools Liaison Team are Higher Education Champions who focus on providing Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) regarding progression routes to Higher Education study, be that a traditional university course or through a Higher or Degree Apprenticeship. The Team deliver to students in Years 9-13, working within a progressive framework that supports knowledge growth year-on-year. We work with students on two strands, Understanding & Preparedness and Passion & Ambition, and we develop and support activity within schools that give students both the confidence and zeal to go on to apply and succeed at Higher Education.
