Preparing for the start of your course and Induction

25 Jan 2019 11:15AM

FOR ATTENTION OF: SPRING 2019 STARTERS

With not long to go now until the main Induction week, now is the time to check through all the Induction information provided here on the Applicant Area, to ensure you are prepared for the start of your studies…

Make sure that you have checked the Induction date and time for your course so that you can add these dates to your diary!

All students are required to complete their enrolment in preparation for the beginning of their studies. It is important that you complete this process promptly as during completion of this form you will select the modules you will study in the first year (all courses have core modules and some also have elective modules for you to choose from), you will also confirm to us additional personal details and how your fees will be paid.

Please note you can only enrol when you have been advised by the Admissions Team that your enrolment is ready to complete. This could be anytime from the beginning of December 2018 and depends on the status of your application. Please do not panic if you do not receive a letter at the same time as others!

To complete your enrolment, all you need to do is click on the ‘Complete Enrolment’ link under the ‘Manage my Application’ section available on your Applicant Area. This will take you directly to the start of your enrolment form.

If you have not already done so, you may be required to send a photo across to us for your University of Suffolk ID card. Find out how to do this here. When ID cards are ready they will be available from the Induction onwards.

We receive many calls from students asking what they need to bring on their first day…our usual answer is just yourself, a notebook and pen! However, some students will need to bring certain documentation with them so please see the list to check whether this applies to you.

Details of Re:Freshers activities can be found here.

If you have any questions, you don’t have to wait until the first day. You can contact the Infozone on 01473 338833 or infozone@uos.ac.uk or even pop in and the team of advisers will be happy to help you.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
