Photography and Film

We are a community of filmmakers, photographers, writers, artists, and expert academics, combining years of experience in lens-based media. Whether your interest is commercial or artistic, we provide everything you need for a successful career in film or photography.

We are known for our first-rate tutor support, our great facilities, our wide-ranging stock of equipment, and our industry links. We will give you the confidence to produce creative, expressive and risk-taking work that engages with critical and theoretical approaches.

Our BA (Hons) Digital Film Production combines the main elements of production, screenwriting and film theory, while Our BA (Hons) Photography explores the full range of practices, technologies and debates associated with the photographic image.

Our Photography and Film courses have recently been ranked in the top ten in the UK, in the Guardian League Table 2018.
