Launch of new Partnership with Leeds Becket University
A new partnership was launched on 5 February 2018 between the University of Suffolk and Leeds Becket University. Leeds Becket University have particular strength in Health and Wellbeing Research and their expertise will be particularly valuable to our new Centre for Health and Wellbeing Research.
Dementia Together initiative wins prestigious HSJ award
A project which will be evaluated by staff at the University won a Health Service Journal Award at their event on 23 November 2017. Dementia Together is an initiative led by Jo Marshall of Sue Ryder. It was launched on 1 April 2017 to provide practical information and support for people who are curious, concerned or living with dementia, their carers, and healthcare professionals in Suffolk and it aims to be a single point of contact for dementia-related information and support. It won the category for CCG and Local Authority Integrated Commissioning for Carers.
