Introducing our Life at Suffolk blog contributors! You can keep up-to-date with their latest posts over on our blog.
Rose - Student Blogger
Hi! I’m Rose and I am an English student at the University of Suffolk. I am a student blogger for the Life at Suffolk blog and I am looking forward to contributing to the blog throughout the year!
I have lived in Ipswich for all my life and have chosen to stay at home to study my degree, so I look forward to posting about what our great little town has to offer to new and prospective students!
Maya - Digital Ambassador
Hi! I’m Maya and I’m the Digital Ambassador. I am currently studying English Literature and Creative Writing, so I look forward to writing for the Life at Suffolk Blog! I will be reviewing events and updating website content, interviewing students, and taking pictures for social media (once lockdown is over). Since I spend most of my time on social media, I am putting it to good use and helping grow the online presence of the University of Suffolk by compiling reports on each platform and researching trends.
Max - Student Blogger
Hi! I’m Max, an immature mature student studying Web and Mobile Development. Filled with a fervour for proactivity, positivity, and hobbies, I’ve moved to Suffolk this year and am spending my spare time being dragged around the East Anglian countryside, and skipping into pubs.
Lily - Student Blogger
Hello! I'm Lily, and I am an Ecology and Conservation student at the University of Suffolk. I am part of the Life at Suffolk blogging team, and I'm excited to combine my two loves of nature and words in the blogs that I write. Suffolk is steeped in history and culture, and the perfect place to find inspiration in the outdoors.
Richard - Student Blogger
Hello there, my name is Richard, and I am proud to be one of the Student Bloggers. I am a mature self-funding student studying the popular Web & Mobile Development degree within the School of Engineering, Arts, Science and Technology. I live with my wife and young children, close to the waterfront campus in Ipswich. I have had a few jobs before this one but am pleased to share my thoughts and experiences as I embark on a new path in my life
Natasha - Web and Digital Content Officer
Hi! I’m Natasha, the Web and Digital Content Officer for the University of Suffolk.
My main role includes looking after the website, social media channels and the Life at Suffolk blog.
I’ll be posting on the blog from time to time with some tips and advice, things to do around our lovely county of Suffolk and hopefully providing some fun and interesting content, if you’re in the mood for some procrastination.
Katie - Web and Digital Content Officer (on maternity leave)
Hi! I’m Katie, the Web and Digital Content Officer for the University of Suffolk, currently on maternity leave.

I was an English student from Cyprus and I've just finished my final year! During my second year I blogged about many topics including tips for international students, dealing with homesickness, making new friends and also other topics about university life and living in Ipswich!
I live in Ipswich, and in my spare time enjoy reading, writing, and relaxing with my two spoilt cats! I'm looking forward to creating blog posts throughout the year, and sharing my ideas and tips to help you make the most of your experience as a student in Suffolk.
